As expected, the end of Stage 2 was just a road. We've set up a quick field kitchen and made tea. Hobnobs are great and we've now found the Mars Bars!
They have gone off at 4:45pm for Stage 3. 19 miles and into Sanquhar.
I'll meet up with them before they go off for Stage 4. This will be a late one as they are a few hours behind.
